Payment terms are in accordance with the following table:

a. 25% of the full fee is due within 7 days of booking the date with Visual Poetics Ltd to secure the date. If payment is not received within the 7 day period, the date is subject to release by Visual Poetics ltd for other potential bookings.

b. 25% of the fee is due 14 days prior to the actual wedding date.

c. 25% of the fee is due upon completion of the wedding day.
This must be paid within 14 days of the wedding date passing.

d. The remaining 25% of the balance is due upon delivery of the preview DVD by Visual Poetics Ltd to the customer.

In the event of the customer cancelling a booking, Visual Poetics Ltd reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee in accordance with the following scale:

a. Cancellation more than 9 months prior to the wedding - No charge

b. Cancellation between 9 mopnths & 3 months prior to the wedding - 25% of the total fee.

c. Cancellation between 3 months & 1 month prior to the wedding - 50% of the total fee.

d. Cancellation less than 1 month prior to the wedding - 75% of the total fee.

e. Cancellation on or after the wedding day - 100% of the total fee

All orders for additional items other than the agreed package must be paid for at the time of ordering.

The copyright and ownership of all images recorded under the terms of this booking remain with Visual Poetics Ltd. The customer shall have no right to reproduce nor to authorise the reproduction of any photographs created by Visual Poetics Ltd unless Visual Poetics Ltd has granted specific permission.

All original negatives/ digital image files remain the property of Visual Poetics Ltd. A copy of the digital image files can be purchased for a fee from Visual Poetics Limited but are subject to the copyright law, mentioned in section 4.

All images ordered remain the property of Visual Poetics Ltd until all monies have been received and cleared into the Visual Poetics Ltd bank account.

At the time of booking, specific photographers will be agreed between Visual Poetics Ltd and the customer. However, should sudden illness or any other unforeseen incident prevent a photographer from covering your wedding, an alternative photographer will be provided.

Visual Poetics Ltd will make very effort to assure your satisfaction according to accepted industry standards. However due to events outside of the photographers control, such as but not limited to, weather, venue restrictions or short timelines, the production of specific images can not be guaranteed.

It is understood that due to the technical limitations of the printing process, the colour reproduction of prints cannot be guaranteed to be identical to those viewed at the proofing stage.

Although the photographers exercise all reasonable care and diligence in the discharge of their duties, it is understood that in the event of any unforeseen circumstances causing loss of all photographic record, Visual Poetics Ltd will only be responsible for the return of all monies paid to date.

The customer hereby gives permission for Visual Poetics Ltd to display any images recorded under the terms of this booking for the purpose of promoting Visual Poetics Ltd, such as but not limited to, brochures, display prints, advertising or website display. Providing that these images are used lawfully and without damage to the customer.
